Love Your Data Week Workshops and Activities Feb 13-17

Love Your Data Week 2017, Feb 13-17 is an international event to raise awareness about research data management, sharing, and preservation at college and universities, and to help researchers take better care of their data. The UA Libraries will be blogging activities and information all week! This year’s emphasis is on Data Quality.  Topics include:

·       Mon. Feb 13: Defining Data Quality

·       Tues. Feb 14: Documenting, Describing, Defining

·       Wed. Feb 15: Good Data Examples

·       Thurs. Feb 16: Finding the Right Data

·       Fri. Feb 17: Rescuing Unloved Data


The UA Libraries will be sponsoring two related workshops on Friday in the iSpace (Science-Engineering library):

·       Jupyter Notebooks with Jeff Oliver, AHSC librarian (12-1:30)

·       Finding the Right Data with Chris Kollen and Mary Bell, UA Libraries (2-3:30)
