Grad Slam: 3-minute Presentation for a $3000 Prize

Grad Slam is a campus-wide competition for the best 3-minute graduate student presentation of a research or creative project. All disciplines are encouraged to participate. And did we mention that presenters could win an award of $3,000? Registration for the competition is open from January 17 through March 1. Spots are limited.

Every year, graduate students at the University of Arizona enter a research presentation competition called Grad Slam. The winner takes home $3000 dollars for a 3-minute presentation.

It is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your communication skills, and it’s an effective way to showcase to the community and the public the innovative research and creative work associated with graduate education. 

Registration for the competition is open from January 17 through March 1. Spots are limited. Register early to secure your spot.

Attend Grad Slam workshops to prepare for the competition and to learn strategies useful for any presentation.

Competition participation is not required for workshop attendance.
