DAAD Fellowships provide support for study in Germany. The following opportunities through DAAD are generally most relevant for graduate students:
- Study scholarships (provide an opportunity to do independent study in Germany or to complete a full Master's degree); and
- Research grants (primarily to do doctoral research).
As a partner university, DAAD encourages the UA to select one priority candidate. Priority candidates from partner universities receive preferential status in the general fellowship competitions and have a considerably higher likelihood of being selected. The information session will cover the basics of the study scholarship and research scholarships as well as the priority candidacy process.
