Dissertation Writing

2 credits – Spring 2024 – Regular Session (1/10/24 through 5/1/24)

Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM

This course is open to doctoral students who have passed their comprehensive exams. Students will work toward completing a major portion of their dissertation, reflect on writing conventions for dissertations in their disciplines, map out their dissertation plan for the semester, and develop healthy writing habits while making progress towards their goals. The course will help students advocate for their ideas, relationships, and timelines in the dissertation process. **Important Information - Live Online** This class will be offered in a Live Online format. Students and instructors will meet simultaneously through an online platform. Students must be available during all scheduled class meetings, and will require sufficient internet bandwidth to join the classes via video link. **Course Requisites: All applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program either in-person or online.
