Stop by the Graduate Writing Lab's Zoom Drop-In Session for a 15–20 minute consultation with a peer consultant. Bring any piece of writing, at any stage: course papers, proposals, articles, theses/dissertations, personal statements, fellowship materials, and more. Students will leave with next steps and targeted feedback.

What to expect

  • First-come, first-served mini consultations

  • Feedback on clarity, structure, argument, and style

  • Tips for planning, revising, and polishing your draft

  • Support for writing in any discipline and at any stage

How to prepare

  • Have your document ready to screen-share (Word doc or PDF preferred)

  • Know your top 1–2 questions (examples: “Is my argument clear?” “Does the structure flow?”)

  • A brief prompt or guidelines if relevant
