Carolyn Tureaud

Carolyn is the Graduate Assistant for Peace Corps recruitment at the University of Arizona. She is a PhD candidate in School Psychology, and her research focuses on the Biopsychoeducational Model and improving education for children in hospital settings. She has over five years of experience working with children with complex medical and developmental needs in both school and clinical settings, including externships at Tucson Medical Center and Banner Pediatrics.
Carolyn is a graduate of the Arizona LEND program, where she completed advanced training in interdisciplinary care, advocacy, and leadership. She has presented her work at national conferences and is passionate about bridging healthcare and education to support children and families.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys cooking, exploring farmers markets, and spending time with her dog, Moco.
