Graduate Student Success Series: Arianna Quinn Tariqi
The Graduate Center is thrilled to celebrate Arianna Quinn Tariqi for being awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship! Tariqi is a Ph.D. student studying environmental engineering and a trainee in the Indigenous Food, Energy, Water Security, & Sovereignty (INDIGE-FEWSS) program. Her fellowship will help support her research on optimizing cost and energy efficiency in inland water desalination within arid regions, including the American Southwest. “I am thankful for the help that the Graduate Center offered to students like myself who were looking for extra guidance. Specifically, the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Application Development Program helped me stay on task, meet deadlines, and offered constructive feedback on portions of my application. I am very appreciative of all the help I received during this process, and I hope to give it back to other students who are interested in applying to this prestigious fellowship.” @UACollegeofEngineering @indigefewss
