Kawther Albader

Kawther is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication. Her research interests include political and intercultural communication, and she is also working to raise awareness for gender-related issues in her native Kuwait. After earning her B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, Kawther returned home to Kuwait where she worked in the advertising industry before co- founding a boutique marketing firm of her own. A few years later, she joined the University of Arizona as an M.A. student studying communication. In her free time, Kawther loves to put on a podcast and bake a delicious treat.
