Parker Geffre is a doctoral student in Environmental Science with bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. Her research examines biogenic drivers of trace gas cycling, specifically how the drought-sensitivity of bacteria from the tropical rainforest and other ecosystems involved in the soil uptake of isoprene, an abundant highly climate-active gas produced by plants. Outside of the University, she enjoys adventuring, drawing, and studying British history.
