Dee is the Career Development Graduate Assistant for the Graduate Center. They help students develop career plans and strategies for job-seeking, and they work with our team on workshop and curriculum development related to career services for graduate students. Dee has worked in student services for two years in a breadth of advising and mentoring positions. Dee is an alumn of the McNair Scholars program, which helps low-income first generation students who want to pursue PhDs. They are dedicated to serving those from similar backgrounds through graduate school. Dee is currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics with a concentration in language revitalization. In their spare time, Dee makes cold-process soap, roller skates, and plays with their two cats.
