NuraDualeh is the Graduate College’s Director of Strategic Initiatives with over 20 years’ working in international education and exchange, enrollment management, multicultural student affairs, and undergraduate research administration. She enjoys designing, implementing, evaluating, and institutionalizing innovative, inclusive, student-centered programs that support diverse undergraduate and graduate students and expand the pathways to graduate education. Nura co-founded several STEM initiatives at the University of Arizona and was PI and co-PI on several federal and foundation grants. Currently, Nura supports grant development efforts and collaborates widely with faculty, staff, and administrators to advocate for holistic, culturally responsive, and asset-based practices that boost student retention and success. Nura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Williams College and a Master of Arts in Language, Reading and Culture from the University of Arizona.
