Practicing wellness is a skill just like writing, navigating the workplace, and building community. We offer programs on personal, financial, and mental wellness in addition to sharing best practices, resources, and connections to our campus partners.

Health and Wellness Series 2020: A series of online workshops hosted by the Dean of Students Health and Wellness Initiatives and the Graduate Center to support graduate students’ physical, emotional, and mental health. Full series details available on the series website.

Healthy Living Series 2016: A series hosted by The University of Arizona Graduate Center with support from the Office for Research & Discovery, and the School of Mind, Brain, & Behavior, on research-based approaches to creating a healthy, balanced, and productive lifestyle. Eight scientists and practitioners share their research-based strategies and advice for how to achieve and maintain good physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual health. Life & Work Connections - This website is the hub for health and wellness resources available to the UArizona employee community. They host weekly webinars on financial literacy, family and work balance, and many other interesting topics. They also have on-demand videos to watch at your own pace and a wide array of interesting article and resources to help you find a good balances between your demanding work and life.

CAPS Resources - Although CAPS services are typically tailored to UArizona students, they have a wide variety of resources available to the public, including these:

  • Take Charge of your Well-Being Resources: this is a long list of resources to help you take charge of your well-being. It includes information about enhancing your health hygiene, staying connected with others, and protecting your heart and lungs, among others.  

  • Pathways to Wellness: here you will find resources to plan a wellness journey for yourself. It includes a personal wellness plan worksheet that you can complete to outline your plan and an extensive list of tools to practice wellness in multiple areas of your life. 

National Self Improvement Month 30-day Challenge - The Office of Digital Learning has collected and curated several resources to provide you with multiple teaching + health and wellness tools to apply in 30 days. They provide links to resources and activity ideas to help you take a break from work and focus on yourself during this "challenge". 

Therapist Assisted Online (TAO) Pathways FREE online - This is a digital program of self-help activities chosen by UArizona CAPS to help cope with feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and restlessness. Enroll in Tao Pathways for free and enter the enrollment key: CAPS-Cares-520 or click on the link provided above for more details. Anybody with a UArizona email can register. 

Meditation Mondays - Every Monday at 6:00pm except for UArizona holidays, join the College of SBS' Center for Compassion Studies for mindfulness meditation practices. This practice gathering is open to all members of the UArizona community, near and far, and for those new and experienced with meditation practice. This group will explore guided meditation practice focused on cultivating the skills of mindful awareness and focused attention. To join for practice, complete the pre-registration in the link provided above. There is no charge to attend and the pre-registration is open throughout the fall to allow for new participants to join.

Stressbusters Chill Now Resources - In this page you will find a variety of free videos for meditation, yoga, and calming exercises. 

Conversations of Compassion Podcast - This is a podcast created by UArizona Center for Compassion Studies. The podcast features a wide variety of speakers who address different issues that relate to practicing compassion, justice and love in these times. 

Nutrition Navigators Podcast - Nutrition Navigators is a UArizona Campus Health sponsored podcast that brings together different health and wellness professionals to help you navigate nutrition and wellness.
