Includes:
- Reflecting on and articulating personal strengths, values, interests, and areas for growth
- Seeking, receiving, and applying feedback to guide ongoing personal and professional development
- Exploring and evaluating a range of career pathways aligned with skills, interests, and priorities
- Setting short- and long-term career goals and revisiting them as interests and opportunities evolve
- Creating, using, and updating Individual Development Plans (IDPs) or similar goal-setting tools
- Demonstrating curiosity by seeking learning opportunities inside and outside formal coursework or training
- Developing and refining professional application materials (CVs, résumés, statements, portfolios, cover letters)
- Practicing professional self-advocacy—articulating skills, experiences, and aspirations with confidence
- Building and sustaining professional relationships through networking, mentoring, and informational interviews
- Preparing for career transitions, including job searches, interviews, and offer evaluation or negotiation
- Taking on roles, responsibilities, or experiences that intentionally support professional growth
