Leadership

Lead people and projects by aligning strengths to shared goals, setting direction, and building trust—motivating others, seeking diverse input, and modeling ethical, accountable, and improvement-focused practices to deliver results.

Leadership includes:

  • Articulating a clear vision, purpose, and goals—and helping others see how their work contributes
  • Recognizing and leveraging individual and team strengths to advance shared outcomes
  • Motivating, encouraging, and influencing others in ways that build commitment and mutual trust
  • Serving as a positive role model: demonstrating confidence, integrity, and a constructive attitude
  • Seeking out diverse perspectives, resources, and feedback to inform decisions and direction
  • Thinking creatively and applying innovative approaches when traditional methods fall short
  • Delegating effectively and setting others up for success through support, coaching, and appropriate autonomy
  • Planning and executing the full project cycle: initiating, coordinating, managing, completing, and evaluating projects
  • Making informed, ethical decisions—considering impacts on people, standards, and the broader community
  • Facilitating difficult conversations, addressing issues early, and helping teams navigate conflict productively
  • Modeling accountability and continuous improvement (reflecting on outcomes, learning from mistakes, iterating processes)
