Looking to gain better control of your finances? Join us for the Filling the Pig: Financial Literacy for Graduate Students workshop series, designed to provide essential knowledge and tools to enhance your financial well-being. The series is made possible through a collaboration with UA Cooperative Extension’s Myke Ramirez, an Instructional Specialist with the Family Engagement Program.
Workshop Topics:
- What Are Your Family's Values Around Money? (Oct 2)
- Understand how your personal values influence your financial behaviors and learn strategies to align your money habits with your values.
- Jump on the Savings Train (Oct 9)
- Develop sustainable saving strategies and maximize your savings potential.
- The Cost of Borrowing (Oct 16)
- Gain clarity on loans, interest rates, and debt management. Learn how borrowing affects your financial health.
- Demystifying the Credit Score (Oct 23)
- Learn what a credit score is, how to improve it, and how it impacts your financial opportunities.
This workshop will take place over four sessions from 12 PM to 1 PM on October 2, 9, 16, and 23 in person in ENR2 Room S225 and on Zoom. Free pizza will be provided for in-person attendees.
