12:00 -12:15 pm. This is a professional event, please dress accordingly. Sign in sheets are in the atrium before entering the ballroom. Poster display boards are grouped by programs, but spaces within the groupings can be self-selected. To find a specific program's area, please reference the poster map or ask the front desk attendants.
Posters should be 36” H x 48” W. We reserve the right to not include any posters that do not adhere to the finished printed size. Staff will be on hand to help students put their posters up. T-pins and binder clips will be provided. No tacks/tape are allowed as they will damage the display boards.
***All posters must be set up by 12:30 pm***
Once the poster is set up - Take pictures, hydrate, get a snack, put on your nametag from earlier in the summer or grab a temporary one at the check in desk! Be ready by 1:00 pm!
To try and keep walkways clear, there is a backstage/green room behind the stage in the south ballroom where personal items can be stored during the poster session. Alternatively, personal items can be stored in alcoves around the ballroom. Remember to put your name on your poster board tube.
Participants are expected to be by their posters for the whole session, unless they need to step away for a quick break.
Participants should be ready to talk about their research to anyone who stops by and answer questions.
If a chair is needed, please ask one of the staff and we will retrieve one.
All participants should take down their posters immediately and put the t-pins back in the display board, UROC staff will come around to collect them. Roll up the poster and put it back in the cardboard tube if available.
