Beihua Guo is a Studio Art MFA student from Shanghai, China. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Environmental Analysis from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. His lens-based and installation artworks explore the fragile relationship between humanity and nature, excavating the unseen and the unheard beyond the landscapes. His current research and art-making address water issues in the American West, nuclear history, the Transcontinental Railroad, pseudoarcheology, and Chinese gardens. Aside from his research, he enjoys visiting National Parks, exploring Google Earth, and spending time with his partner.
