Emma Rose Buhman-Wiggs is a doctoral student in the Neuroscience Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. Emma Rose hails from the Midwest, having grown up in a small town in Kansas and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. Her goal is to become a professor and to study neural processing of sound and language. Additionally, she is interested in teaching and science communication. She is an avid lover of books, brains, and books about brains-- outside of the lab, the best place to look for her is a library.
