Justice Ellison is a doctoral student in the Neuroscience Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Florida. His passion for neuroscience developed during his undergraduate studies and led him to conduct research at the Mayo Clinic, where he studied neurotherapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease. He is particularly interested in regenerative strategies for neurodegenerative diseases and how they can be used to promote brain repair. A fun fact about him: he has nine siblings. Outside the lab, he enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, and chess.
