Nathalia is a doctoral student in the Planetary Sciences Department. She is from Guayama, Puerto Rico. After earning her BS in Natural Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus (UPRC), she worked with Dr. Dante Lauretta on the OSIRIS-Rex mission, performing asteroid sample analysis. She is fascinated with asteroid characterization efforts and planetary surface studies, a passion that has been stregthned since her research internship in the Arecibo Observatory of Puerto Rico. Besides Planetary Sciences, Nathalia has a passion for art and community outreach projects. She aims to become a skilled researcher, communicator, artist and astronaut.
