Rose Rojas is the Program Coordinator for the Peace Corps Coverdell Fellows Program. She is also the Program Lead for Grad Chat, a safe space for students to talk about any concerns, challenges and victories on their academic journey. As the Coverdell Fellows Program Coordinator, Rose provides guidance and support for participating Fellows by offering mentoring, professional development opportunities, and ensuring that Fellows continue to volunteer with underserved populations in the Tucson community. Rose is passionate about student success, creating safe spaces,  building community and a sense of belonging for all students. She earned a History degree from the University of Arizona. Rose also holds one of the world’s first master’s on the cultural and social impact of the Beatles, graduating with honors from Liverpool Hope University. Rose has also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Federated States of Micronesia, working alongside the Kosraean community on the Library and Literacy Education Project. In her spare time, Rose enjoys travel, star gazing, live music, and reading historical novels. She is currently writing about her adventures in Liverpool.
