Sabina Iturralde

Graduate Assistant, Wellness Projects and Initiatives

Sabina serves as the Wellness Projects and Initiatives Graduate Assistant at the Graduate Center, leading initiatives that are aligned with the Graduate Center's diverse mission. Sabina is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona who holds graduate certifications in Educational Research Methodology and Motivational Learning Environments. Sabina is pursuing a graduate certification in College Teaching and PhD in Educational Psychology with a Multidisciplinary minor with an emphasis in Disability Studies. Sabina holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Special Education and an M.A. in Educational Psychology. Her interests include studying how college and career readiness programs improve access, sense of belonging, career decision making, and persistence among underrepresented high school and higher education students. Outside of academics, Sabina is a coffee, music, shopping, and traveling enthusiast.
