Sydni Do

Sydni Fomas Do (she/her) serves as a Communications Graduate Assistant, where she supports communications strategy, content development, and engagement initiatives for the Graduate Center’s initiatives and programs. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Marketing with a minor in Public Health. Her research focuses on consumer well-being, with a particular focus on how financial trauma and social stereotypes influence financial decision-making. Sydni holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in International Business and Economics from the University of Kentucky and brings professional experience from the insurance and nonprofit sectors as well as student advocacy with the Graduate and Professional Student Council and the Black Graduate Student Association. Outside of her academic and professional work, she enjoys running, spending time in nature, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
