Communication Skills and How They Relate to Personal Wellbeing

Effective communication is key to building and maintaining relationships, working through differences, and resolving conflict. It also plays an important role in our own personal wellbeing. This presentation will offer practical strategies for enhancing communication skills, especially those called for during times of uncertainty and in emotionally laden situations.

Presenter: Jack Harris, trained mediator, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Board-Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress

Jack Harris conducts training throughout the country on a variety of topics aimed at Helping Keep Good People Good. People from large and small businesses, professional associations, non-profit organizations, the health care industry, and government agencies have benefited from his management experience, behavioral science background, and passion for practical solutions. Jack is a trained mediator, Licensed Professional Counselor (Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners), and a Board-Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress (American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress). He holds a master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
