Hertz Foundation Fellowship Information Session

The Office of Fellowship, Dr. Kevin Lin from the Department of Mathematics, and campus partners are planning an information session with Hertz Fellowship program representatives. More information will be shared soon. In the meantime, mark your calendar and check out the Hertz Fellowship program description. Undergraduates and graduate students are eligible to apply for this prestigious award that offers 5-years of funding worth up to $250,000.

Eligible students for the Hertz Fellowship must:

• be college seniors, first-year graduate students, or in a gap period preparing to apply to graduate school;
• intend to pursue a full-time, in-person PhD in the applied physical and biological sciences, mathematics or engineering at an institution in the United States;
• intend to direct their studies toward understanding and solving major, near-term problems facing society; and
• be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
