Have you ever struggled to remember your accomplishments when updating your CV or preparing for an interview? Our team found a helpful article from University of Arizona Human Resources that shares a simple strategy for capturing your career wins before you forget them. Here are the three quick steps they recommend. Read the full article for additional details and exercises to get you started.

Step 1: Reflect. Create a routine for regularly reflecting on your activities big and small. Write them down.

Step 2: Gather. Collect concrete evidence to support your accomplishments and goals progress identified in Step 1. Anything that documents progress, outcomes, and success is good - even Thank You emails from clients, colleagues, and others!

Step 3: Align. Connect your identified accomplishments to your, your team, and/or your organization's goals and any next steps. This will help you communicate how your work not only impacts you but also supports a broader mission.

These three steps are a great way to keep you on track for logging your accomplishments and having the information needed handy for sharing communicating your impact.
