Join us at the Graduate Center for the next Crafternoons of art and meditation. This workshop is an opportunity for slowing down together. We will examine mandalas and the principle of Drishti (focus) while moving towards letting go of harmful dominant cultural notions such as perfectionism, production, and urgency. During our time together, you will engage in a short movement (yoga) practice, be guided through a meditation exploring the rich history and the art of mandalas, and create your own mandala. While not a therapy group, this workshop may be beneficial to those seeking tools to increase their creativity and relaxation. No yoga experience or materials (such as a yoga mat) are required.
