The Graduate Center supports graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in all stages of career development. Think of us as a supplement to the training you are receiving in your academic degree programs. We can help you:

• research and identify diverse careers
• develop effective job search strategies
• create professional connections and develop your LinkedIn profile
• review job application materials such as CVs, resumes, statements, and cover letters
• prepare for interviews including mock interviews
• negotiate your best offer

Handshake is the official career hub for the Graduate Center! You can make career consultation appointments, register for events, programs, and workshops, find out about upcoming events, and have access to job and internship postings both from the University of Arizona and employers vetted by the University who are eager to hire UA graduate students. Postdoctoral scholars can email Associate Director Amanda Bogden to schedule appointments and access events.
